1. What's your connection with Collective Meaning?
My journey with Collective Meaning is a mixture of personal passion and professional exploration.
I've always been captivated by human relationships and the dynamics that connect us to others.
This curiosity propelled me towards a career in human resources, where I spent over a decade leading and improving workplace dynamics in international companies. Over time, however, I began to notice a growing disconnect between the academic theories I was studying in countless books and the realities I was observing in the corporate world, which began to affect my personal health.
To deepen my knowledge, I immersed myself in positive psychology during my postgraduate studies. It was there that I discovered the concept of "meaning in life" and its importance for individual well-being.
Aware of the need to adapt this concept to collective contexts, since my initial aim was to extend its benefits to organizational environments, I devoted my post-graduate thesis to developing the concept of collective meaning. This work became the foundation of my mission: to transform community and institutional environments to align them with our contemporary social evolution, fostering spaces where individual fulfillment generates collective growth and outstanding results.
Over the past three years, I've delved deeper into this concept, observing its practical application in different contexts, and continually exploring and investigating new authors and global theories on the subject. This journey has been a personal mission to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application by improving human connections and fostering meaningful environments in the groups of which we are a part.
2. What have you done before? What's your story?
My history is marked by an ongoing quest to understand and enrich human relationships in diverse contexts.
Born in São Paulo, Brazil, my career has taken me to 11 countries, giving me a rich cultural perspective. My professional career has spanned more than a decade with multinational companies such as Bosch, with a year in Germany, Ambev (AB Inbev in Brazil) and Arco Educação (an edtech unicorn), holding positions such as People Leader for South America and Head of Culture & ESG.
These experiences gave me a unique insight into human development and organizational culture.Mid-2022, I made a major transition in my career to align my activities even more closely with my passion for Collective Meaning.
Today, as a university professor, business school educator, mentor and consultant, I am committed to spreading the principles of collective sense on a global scale. Together with my husband, I have adopted a digitally nomadic lifestyle, allowing me to immerse myself in different cultures and apply collective sense in a variety of contexts, contributing to personal and collective fulfillment.
3. What is your relationship with Skillagora?
Our collaboration is rooted in a shared belief in the transformative power of community and the collective. At the heart of Collective Meaning is the idea that, by fostering strong, meaningful connections within groups, we can stimulate collective growth and innovation.
